STADA Health Accreditation
What is STADA Health Accreditation?
STADA health accreditation aims to facilitate improved responses to domestic abuse and VAWG within the health sector at both operational and strategic levels. STADA Health Accreditation is a framework designed to enable health systems to embed policy and practice that prioritises early identification of, and response to, domestic abuse and VAWG so that victim-survivors can achieve safety and security.
Our accreditation framework includes nine Priority Components, with supporting documents and guidance outlining the strategic and operational actions needed to ensure effective and safe interventions. It includes processes that guide health staff to adequately address the needs of survivors and hold abusers to account, with support provided by STADA to work through the priorities.
How to Sign up for STADA Health Accreditation?
STADA Health accreditation is open to all Trusts, Clinical Commissioning groups and / or Integrated Care Systems in England and Wales looking to improve their response to domestic abuse and VAWG. If you are interested in the accreditation process, please get in touch with the health team here: healthteam@standingtogether.org.uk and we will arrange an initial call.
