National Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy & Practice Group's response to the Domestic Abuse Bill

Standing Together Against Domestic Violence is part of the National Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy & Practice Group and together with its partner organisations, urges the UK Government to bolster legislation designed to meet the housing needs of survivors of abuse, their children, and perpetrators. The COVID 19 crisis and the consequent lockdown has increased the vulnerability of survivors and their children, and revealed the lack of protection for survivors of domestic abuse overall. The National Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy & Practice Group subsequently call for coordinated government action to meet the needs of survivors of abuse and their children.
