Training
One of the most effective ways to encourage professionals to enquire about domestic abuse and respond effectively is to equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to do so.
Training is central to how Standing Together strengthens the national response to domestic abuse.
We give professionals across health, housing, criminal justice, local authorities and the voluntary sector the knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need to recognise abuse earlier and respond safely.
Our approach is trauma-informed, survivor-centred and shaped by decades of working with partners across the UK. Every course brings practitioners together to learn, reflect and develop the tools they need to improve outcomes for the people they support.
We deliver a wide range of open courses, bespoke group sessions, longer multi-session programmes, Train the Trainer pathways and specialist options for health and housing teams. DAHA training is also available through our dedicated housing programme, offering CPD-accredited learning for organisations working towards a stronger, safer response to domestic abuse.
All courses can be delivered remotely or in person, depending on the needs of your team. To explore every course in detail, please visit our dedicated training website: standingtogethertraining.co.uk
